GENERAL

By commissioning me, you agree to these terms.I reserve the right to decline a commission for any reason. Automatically accepted commissions via VGen may also be cancelled and refunded.



WHAT I WILL AND WON’T DRAW

I will draw: Humans, humanoids, furries, animals, light mecha, artistic nudity, light NSFWI won’t draw: Complex mecha, heavy NSFW, harmful rhetoric (ex. hate speech), explicit fetish content



PAYMENTS

All payments are taken through PayPal when commissioning over DM. Commissioning via VGen is also possible, but in that case all interactions must remain within that platform. Full payment or agreed percentage is required before I start.



REVISIONS

2 major revisions are allowed during the sketch phase. This can include a complete redo.Afterwards, up to 5 minor revisions are allowed. During the lineart phase, this includes redrawing specific parts, but afterwards, redrawing any part would incur an additional fee.


Minor revision examples: Adding a heart and a star shape next to the character, changing the colors of a specific part, editing the overall color balance of the piece, slightly moving or warping a certain part of the drawing.


For some very simple styles, a different workflow is applied, where there is less communication throughout the process, and only 1 minor revision is allowed at the end. You will be notified if this is the case.



DEADLINES AND DELIVERY

Generally, commissions can take up to 3 months to complete. Some simple styles take less time. If needed by a specific date, rush order fees may apply.


You will receive a high quality PNG in 300 dpi and RGB colors. If a background is included, and the art style is not a 1 layer painting, you will additionally receive a transparent PNG of the character without background as well.


Also, you will receive a watermarked version for the purpose of sharing online safely, for your own protection from theft. You are allowed to post the unwatermarked versions too, but I will not.



USAGE AND RIGHTS

I retain the right to use the artwork for my own purposes, such as posting watermarked on social media, and including in my portfolio. A request for complete privacy of the artwork will incur additional fees as it can cause me to miss out on receiving additional commissions. I will not, however, make any direct additional profits off of the artwork, such as selling prints or other merchandise. I will also not use the artwork to represent myself, such as profile pictures or banners.


Personal Commissioners: You may display the artwork publicly on your personal social media (with crediting @soulcat_doodles highly appreciated but not mandatory) and use it privately such as for phone wallpapers or personal stickers for your own use. You may not make profit off of the artwork in any way. This includes, for example, using the artwork as a profile picture for a business or monetized social media account.


Commercial Content and Commercial Merchandise Commissioners: Please contact me separately to discuss details. Commercial prices are tailored to individual cases, as it would not be fair to charge a small channel with 200 subscribers the same as an established one with millions. Commercial rights are also dependent on individual cases and needs.


IN ALL CASES: It is strictly prohibited to use my artwork in any relation to generative AI. This includes feeding it as training data to an AI model, altering it in any way with AI, making variations of it with AI, and more. Using my artwork for Crypto or NFT purposes is also forbidden, as well as misattributing the artwork to another person. Furthermore, misrepresenting me by using the artwork in the context of hate-speech, violent extremism, harassment, or discrimination (including but not limited to ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, and disability), is also prohibited.



REFUNDS

Once work has started, refunds are generally not provided unless I am unable to complete the project. If you need to cancel before work begins, please contact me immediately.



COMMUNICATION

If any issues arise on my end, I will contact you immediately. Please remain active so as to not miss any messages. If you do not answer my messages, I will have to proceed while potentially making poorly informed decisions in my artistic process due to lack of information, or otherwise put the commission on hold, delaying the delivery date.I will contact you for approval after completing each stage of the commission: sketch, lineart, colors, and final.
